3-Ingredient Mac ‘n’ Cheese Ramen
With a few ingredients and a few minutes, you can have a steaming, comforting bowl of mac ‘n’ cheese ramen. The key ingredient here is evaporated milk, which mimics béchamel, a creamy sauce that is usually used as the base for mac ‘n’ cheese. Try using high-quality, extra-sharp cheddar cheese for a particularly delicious dish.
INGREDIENTS
2 cups water
One packet instant ramen, any flavor (Top Ramen, Maruchan, or Sapporo Ichiban are good options)
2.5 oz evaporated milk (half of a 5 oz can)
3 oz sharp cheddar cheese, grated
DIRECTIONS
Bring the water to a simmer in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the noodle cake and cook for 2.5 minutes or until your desired doneness. Drain thoroughly.
Add the evaporated milk, cheese, and half of the seasoning sachet to the saucepan. Simmer for 1 minute to create a cheese sauce, stirring regularly.
Pour the ramen into a bowl. Serve immediately.
